KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court dismissed an appeal by a travel agency and its three operators against their conviction, fine and jail term over a multi-million ringgit illegal deposit-taking scam. Judge Datuk Mohd Azman Husin maintained the Sessions Court ruling against Noradz Travel & Services, Datuk Adzhar Sulaiman, 60, and his two daughters Noradzma, 39, and Noradzrin, 30.

The Uruguayan-Saudi air travel agreement proposed during the International Civil Aviation Conference in Jeddah nearly two years ago is expected to be signed in the coming weeks by the two countries. “If and when the air travel accord is signed, cooperation between the two countries in various sectors will be stepped up,” Uruguayan Ambassador to the Kingdom Carlos A.
